Chieveley resident Simon Halliday, who recently completed the epic Marathon des Sables, is holding a talk in which he will be providing perspectives through film and images of race preparation, conditions and the wonders of western Sahara.
The talk is entitled "From Couch to 252K - Reflections on the 37th Marathon des Sables - the toughest footrace in the world"
The even will take place on Wednesday 4th October, 7.30pm – 9.00pm, at Chieveley Recreation Hall Club Room.
Open to all, this event is given in support of the Brain Tumour Charity organisation.
