The Plant & Produce Sale is one of the milestones of the village year and we are delighted that the Bibbey family are kindly allowing us to use the beautiful gardens of Chieveley House again.
To ensure that there is an extensive range of plants for sale, could you make some divisions of old favourites, spare some seedlings of flowers or vegetables. Please look around your garden and see if there is some gem that you could grow or split or germinate ready for the 12th of May.
If you are a cook, please think about what you could make and bring for the produce sales table. It could be a cake, a bake, a quiche, some bread, pate or jam.
Growing and cooking are not your thing? Well, make sure that you come to enjoy the fruits of your neighbours hard work.
There will be a £3 entry charge for adults (children free) which will also provide you with a glass of wine (or soft drink alternative) and this will help the shopping as you chat to friends in this very elegant garden. Cards and cash accepted.
