Our aims

Chieveley Primary is a creative school which offers a safe, secure and friendly environment for all learners. It is a place where individual talents are nurtured and celebrated. We have high expectations of each other, with respect and tolerance being intrinsic to school life. Our teaching inspires and challenges, in an atmosphere where all are encouraged to have a go and curiosity is fostered.

We seek to create a happy, family atmosphere at School where children can grow towards personal maturity and become responsible and caring members of the community. We endeavour to create a stimulating but disciplined environment and expect our children to be busy and purposeful.

We hope that the children will enjoy their learning and will become life-long learners. Emphasis throughout the school is upon the individual child and his/her needs. Our goal is to ensure that children are given the opportunity to develop lively, enquiring minds, thus enabling them to realise their own potential.

The school has a thriving and energetic PTA, which is a registered charity that raises funds in order to help in the education of the children. The PTA runs a number of successful events over the school year including the Christmas Fayre, Bingo nights and the Chieveley Chase.
