West Berks Foodbank - Chieveley Drop-Off Locations

Our local Foodbank received 29.6% less food donations in February 2026 vs February 2025.  The need for food from those we feed has not gone down, food inflation remains high and the cost of living crisis has not gone away for many.  We still rely heavily on generous donations.

You can help by donating food at local supermarkets, drop-off points like St. Mary’s Church Chieveley (school hours) or Downland Practice doctors’ surgeries.  A full list of donation points can be found at https://westberks.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

A list of current food needs is published and regularly updated on our website at https://westberks.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/bankthefoodlist/

There is also a fantastic app called Bank The Food, for which you can find details at https://westberks.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/the-foodbank-app/  Do download it to your phone so you always have up-to-date information about what is most needed when you are in the shops.

As a courtesy to those we are helping, please ensure donated food is in date, sealed and undamaged.  The Foodbank is bound by food hygiene/management regulations, and anything in less than perfect condition will not be passed on to our clients.  Sometimes people kindly donate alcoholic drinks.  We never pass these to our clients as we don’t always know if people have addiction problems, so any such gifts are used in our fundraising efforts as eg tombola prizes.

Thank you so much!
