Chieveley-based The Merry Kitchen is offering a regular Friday night curry to residents from its base on the High Street, #homecookedtakeaway.


Curry club time and as last week’s menu went down so well we’re sticking with a similar style! So it’s all about hearty and warming dishes, packed with flavour and spice! 

  • Sri Lankan chicken curry - fragrant flavours and a creamy coconut sauce, serves 2, £14
  • Sri Lankan vegan curry - veges in a zingy coconut sauce, serves 2, £10
  • Asian beef curry, slow cooked and cooked in a spicy tomato sauce, serves 2, £14
  • Asian greens, pan fried in garlic and ginger, serves 2, £7. 

Orders by email to, by 9pm Wednesday for delivery/collection from Marymead House (on the High Street) on Friday 4-6pm, or collect at Chieveley Village Market on Saturday morning (at the village hall).  Please give full address on email and inform us if you are in isolation and require delivery.

Meals provided in foil trays with reheating instructions.

We use and support local suppliers - Beedon eggs, Vicars Game, Fishers Veg.

All food is prepared in an isolated commercial kitchen in our home and will only be prepped/cooked by myself.
