Chieveley Oil Club Seeks Volunteer Coordinator
For 16 years Chieveley Oil Club has been bulk buying heating oil for over 270 residents, saving them significant time and money in the process. The club has been run by numerous volunteers over the years and the most recent volunteer has now moved away from the village. Unless a new volunteer coordinator can be found the Oil Club will cease to exist and households will have to order their own oil.
The role involves in the region of 2-3 hours of time for each of the approximately 6 orders a year. It is purely an administrative job coordinating the orders and can be done at any time the coordinator wishes .
