Byway 49, Curridge
The Solicitor for Fairhurst Estates and West Berkshire Council are considering options regarding Byway 49 including the merits of keeping the diverted path and whether it is legally possible to be retained. The Mid & West Berkshire Access Forum have also urged West Berkshire Council to consider keeping the diverted path and make it the new definitive route.
Curridge Playground Charity Nominee
A new Parish Council nominee, Neil Wood, has been agreed.
Litter behind the Moto Services Area (MSA)
The MSA Manager will be urged to tackle the litter strewn around the slip road and behind the services. It degrades the beauty of the local environment and threatens to harm wildlife
Keep Britain Tidy – Great British Tidy
Dates for litter picking as part of the Keep Britain Tidy are on 22 March and 23 April 2019. If you wish to support the event details are available on their website https://www.keepbritaintidy.org
The eagle eyed of you will have spotted that the locations for the new trees have been marked out and trees will appear soon on The Green, Chieveley and Middle Farm Close open spaces to improve the habitat and enjoyment of the open spaces.
Internal Audit Report
The Internal Audit has been concluded. A good Internal Audit Report has been issued and will be available in due course on www.mychieveley.co.uk website.
Carbrook Corner, Curridge
West Berkshire Council agreed to prioritise works to clear a silted up ‘Grip’ at Carbrook. Works completed on 4 February 2019.
Date for the Diary - The Chieveley Parish Annual Assembly
Chieveley Village Hall & Recreational Centre, Chieveley, Berkshire RG20 8TE on 9 April 2019 at 8pm. All welcome. This is a community event and a great opportunity for community groups and local schools to have a display or handouts at the event. Please contact the Clerk. Email email@example.com.

The footpath sign on Graces Lane, footpath 4, has been reported as fallen over to West Berkshire Councils and a fallen tree on a footpath 27, Curridge has also been reported. If you find a public right of way blocked or a path not rolled in after ploughed field please report it to West Berkshire Council using Report a Problem on their website.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will take place at 7.30pm on 12 March 2019 at Chieveley Village Hall & Recreational Centre, High Street, Chieveley, Berkshire RG28 9DZ at 7.30pm
The first 10 minutes of the meeting are available for members of the public to express a view or ask a question of the Parish Council.
Members of the public are welcome to stay and observe for the rest of the meeting.
