Medicines for Muheza 2019

It was impossible not to have been moved by the stories, pictures and film shown at last year’s annual service for Medicines for Muheza.

Drs Karilyn and Richard Collins have recently been in Muheza and will again be coming to St Mary’s. They are hoping to have a new film to update us on all the progress and inspiring work that has happened since last year as well as highlighting some of the most pressing needs.

This charity has been supported by our community for about 25 years and we are holding our annual service to raise funds at St Mary’s, Chieveley on Sunday 20 October 2019. This will be in the main service at 9.30am as well as at Café Church (starts after the main service, at 10.45am).

Last year, we raised a fantastic £5550 with Gift Aid and I dearly hope we can do the same again this year. The work there is actively changing and saving so many lives, with very limited resources; this help is both medical and educational.

Donations can be made by cash or cheque or standing order. If you do the latter, please let me know so that I can make sure we claim any gift aid where appropriate.
