Customer Information UPDATE - Effective from 30.03.2020
Firstly a huge thank you to the vast majority of our customers for your patience and understanding during this 'crisis'.
Our current workload is unprecedented, and combined with a severe reduction in staffing levels, we have had to make some changes to ensure we can continue to stay open and provide medication and advice to our customers.
I will review these measures we weekly and make changes as necessary.
Opening Hours - Chieveley
We are open from 9:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00
To ensure our staff get a break, we will be closed between 13:00 - 14:00
If you are unable to visit the Pharmacy during these periods, you can access the Pharmacy from 17:00 - 18:30 by calling the Pharmacy first.
Opening Hours - Compton
With our current staff shortages, unfortunately we are unable to open our Compton site every day.
At present, we aim to open the Compton site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8:00 - 13:00
However, this is dependent on sufficient staffing and we may have to close the site at short notice. If this is necessary, I will post a message on the Compton page.
If you are unable to visit Compton to collect your prescription when they are open, please call the Pharmacy to discuss alternative options.
Volunteer-led Delivery Service
If you need to self-isolate, and cannot arrange for a friend or relative to collect medication on your behalf, in cooperation with Parish volunteers, we will arrange for your medication to be delivered to you.
Please email email@example.com or call the Pharmacy to make arrangements.
We DO NOT have any stock of hand sanitisers, wipes, thermometers, or paracetamol tablets. When we have stock, I will post a message.
We DO have limited stock of paracetamol liquid for 6-12 year olds.
To ensure availability of prescription medication, please do not over order.
Please be patient and allow us the maximum time possible to put prescriptions together. In normal times it can take up to four working days from ordering a prescription via a repeat order form to it being available from ourselves. If at all possible, at the moment, please allow another one or two working days.
If you are in danger of running out of medication, let us know and we will do what we can to help.
With the incredible demands now placed on us we are not always able to answer the telephone as quickly as we would like.
We will only take phone calls between 8.30am - 9.00am and between 3.00pm - 6.30pm. if you cannot get through, please choose option 1 and leave a message with reception.
To keep our staff healthy so we can maintain services, and to comply with social distancing measures, we must limit the number of customers in the pharmacy at a time. This does unfortunately mean that there may be a queue outside, but we are working on ways to reduce this.
We would be grateful for your help in getting this information to the wider community.
Stay safe and our best wishes to all.
