For those of you who don't know, The Chieveley 50 was a daily one-mile walk in the village for 50 days in support of Crisis, the homeless charity. All those that participated made a donation with many pledging £50 for walking the 50 miles in 50 days. We started on the 2nd January and finished on 20th February, always at 6pm thus making all walks torch-lit. We raised an amazing £1564.30 (including Gift Aid) and have received this certificate from Crisis in recognition (a late donation came after the certificate).
We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for all their support and company, and also to those of you who completed the walks in their own time and space.
Look out for any future similar events and do come and join in. Everyone is welcome. We had children, adults and many dogs!
