We hope you enjoy some of our Guest Comments

"Idyllic setting, great host, lovely breakfast, friendly chickens. We will be back"
John & Elaine, Wirral, Oct ‘08

"Absolutely wonderful, we've had such a great stay, feel like we've recharged our batteries! Would love to come back - maybe even with the kids next time!
Thanks for your hospitality - everything was perfect."

Ali & Richard, London, May ‘08

"An enjoyable and relaxing break in a part of the country we will certainly be back to explore. Many thanks. Absolutely no need to change anything. The only suggestion I could make is that you set up another property in Kent - I could get used to tea and cakes in the  afternoon!"
Amanda & Derek, Kent, Apr ‘08

"We had a lovely anniversary weekend, the Pot Kiln was great but most of all we enjoyed the cottage and the comfortable surroundings."
Pauline and Mark, Leicester, Oct ‘07

"Fabulous B&B. Like everyone else wish we were here for longer."
Neil, Karen and family, Yorks, Aug ‘07

"Peaceful, relaxing & welcoming - the perfect break. Thank you. (And cricket too!)"

Frank & Jean, Surrey, Aug ‘07

"We had a really good time at your house, lovely bedroom and large living room! If we have a chance to come to England again, we would like to stay at your home and also would like to tell my friends about your lovely house and garden. Thanks!"
Nobuko, Kyoto, Japan, Aug ‘07

"Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. Everything has been absolutely perfect - and you even supplied the weather! The only criticism I have is allowing your son to wear a Chelsea football shirt when playing in the garden. Still, at least he had the decency to cover it up before we played Rugby - which was great! The only sensible comment I can give you is that you have no need for this book!(Comments/Suggestions) Do not strive to change a single thing, everything really is perfect. You, and the Pot Kiln made celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary an unforgettable experience, for which we are very grateful."
Tim & Verity, Enfield, Aug ‘07

"It has really been a lovely place to stay over the last 5 months. Thank you for the breakfasts."
Suheil, Herfordshire, Jun '07

"Thanks once again. You always make me feel welcome."
Pam, Carmarthen, Apr ‘07

"Thank you for a lovely stay - the birthday cake on arrival was a really nice touch. There really isn't much that could be improved upon, this is one of the few places which is even better than it claims to be! Highly recommend the scrambled eggs from your hens, so yellow and tasty. The Pot Kiln was very good, make time to stay in the bar afterwards to sample the local brews.I just wish we could have stayed longer."
Rachel & James, Bristol, Mar ‘07

"Thank you Sarah! Altogether Wonderful."
Richard and Ann, Hertfordshire, Feb ‘07

"Fantastic stay - could have spent a week! Looking forward to coming back."
Liz & David, High Wycombe, Feb ‘07

"Absolutely perfect, we enjoyed our stay with you and the hens. We will highly recommend it to our friends in the North East. Hopefully be back again soon. We would also like to say the soft boiled eggs were smashing tell your husband (ha ha). Don't change a thing. All in all, it was superb."
David & Kelly, Darlington, Jan ‘07

"We had a great stay - thanks for everything - the kids had fun too. Just what we needed for a Christmas break."
Alan, Belinda and family, Egypt, Dec ‘06/Jan ‘07

"This was such a beautiful place to stay in and there is really nothing I would improve. The small touches stay with you forever - being offered homemade cake and tea on arrival, finding bubble bath in the bathroom, DVDs by the TV, games in the cupboard. We will definitely be back."
Viki & Vagelis, London, Dec'06

"Great hospitality and a very wonderful property - a perfect place to relax."
Chris & Tracey, Stoke on Trent, Oct ‘06
