Who owns Newbury Showground?

The Newbury Showground at Chieveley is owned by Newbury and District Agricultural Society who purchased the land in 1984. The Society is a registered charity set up to promote agriculture, horticulture, forestry and rural crafts & skills, with offices at the showground.

What is Newbury Showground used for?

Newbury Showground is most famously used for the annual Royal Berskhire Show (aka the Newbury Show). However, it hosts a variety of other events during the year. Here is the complete listing of Newbury Showground events 2012.
