Chieveley Primary School
Our aims
We seek to create a happy, family atmosphere at Chieveley Primary School where children can grow towards personal maturity and become responsible and caring members of the community. We endeavour to create a stimulating but disciplined environment and expect our children to be busy and purposeful.
We hope that the children will enjoy their learning and will become life-long learners. Emphasis throughout the school is upon the individual child and his/her needs. Our goal is to ensure that children are given the opportunity to develop lively, enquiring minds, thus enabling them to realise their own potential.
Numbers
We currently have 156 pupils on roll in 6 classes, ranging from Foundation Stage (age 4/5) to Year 6 (age 10/11).
Building Works
Our school is currently undergoing major building works which will ensure that the children learn in a stimulating, well-equipped and up-to-date environment. We also have a lovely, large playing field which ensures there is plenty of room to learn, play and let off steam at break-times!
After School Club
We have a growing after school club which is run at school several nights a week and will shortly have purpose-built facilities.
